Along with my career at the Ministry of Defense, as well as in the space industry, I have been active in many space-related activities to further foster my knowledge and broaden my network.

Key Achievements: 

• Part-time researcher focused on the technological challenges of Planetary Defense and Space Resources, contributing to the advancement of space sustainability and exploration. 

• National Point of Contact for the Space Generation Advisory Council, serving alongside Jan Lukačevič, fostering collaboration and engagement within the space community. 

• Co-author of the award-winning academic paper "PNT Luna – Minimum Viable Constellation for Lunar Navigation and Communication," presented at the 70th International Astronautical Congress in Washington, D.C. 

• Frequent panelist in expert roundtables, discussions, and talks on space policy, industry trends, and space applications, contributing insights to international audiences.

Between 2014 and 2019, I played a pivotal role in the establishment and development of the Industrial Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic. Progressing from Junior Analyst and Desk Officer to Acting Head of Unit and Deputy Director, I contributed significantly to: 

My achievements:

• Collaborating on the formulation and refinement of the national strategy for international industrial and research and development cooperation within the defense sector.

• Successfully leading and co-leading numerous high-level and technical meetings with international counterparts, encompassing ministers, deputy ministers, and generals, to cultivate strategic industrial and R&D alliances and facilitate the international expansion of the Czech defense industry.

• Proactively facilitated the integration of advanced space technology solutions into the Czech Armed Forces' capabilities. 

Czech-Vietnamese Defense Cooperation

Joint research and development venture of leading Czech space industry players and Thales Alenia Space within the General Support Technology Program framework of the European Space Agency (ESA). 

My role:

• Flexible Solar Array Mechanical Subsystem Project's Manager. 

• Work-Package Leader within the Composite Manufacturing for Space Applications Project. 

• Close cooperation with Thales Alenia Space and other industrial partners (weekly meetings, bi-weekly visits).

• Re-organization of the project's team workflow, best practices, and prioritization of the system engineering focus within the project.

As UX Lead (interim) and Producer for the UX/UI team at Hangar 13, I played a key role in the development of Top Spin 2k25.

UX/UI Leadership: 

• Conducted research on competitive sports titles and games with similar features.

• Designed and iterated on wireframes for key screens, including the Main Menu.

• Established efficient pipelines, workflows, and best practices for the UX/UI development process.

• Led and coordinated a diverse team of UX designers, facilitating daily feedback sessions and brainstorming.

• Collaborated closely with the Game Director and Game Design and Gameplay team to ensure seamless integration of design requirements into the game's UX/UI.

As an active member of a tabletop RPG community, I contributed under the pseudonym "Jarilo" to Drakkar, a free online fanzine (still active today). My contributions included articles providing players with inspiration and valuable references on a variety of topics, such as:

• Military Science Fiction: Explored the integration of military sci-fi elements into tabletop RPGs.

• Mountainous Environments: Analyzed the potential roles and uses of mountains in game settings.

• Trolls as NPCs: Explored the portrayal of trolls as compelling creatures and non-player characters.

• Combat in an urban environment

• Forts as Game Locations: Provided insights on designing and utilizing forts effectively within RPG campaigns.

• Animals as Enemies: Offered creative strategies for incorporating animals as challenging and engaging adversaries.
